“I think in my case, specifically, I think it was the industrial engineer that attracted me. When I wake up in the morning before I do my kids a lunch bag, I will turn on the water for the coffee because I think I don't want to wait for the water. I want to do something while the water is boiling. There's something about eliminating waste that I probably was raised with this. My father was an industrial engineer. I think it was in my blood, so I went and thought, "I think I'm going to like it." I think it's good, and I enjoyed it, and I've been doing it from then, working in manufacturing and now in fintech.”
