“Honestly, when I graduated college was a long time ago in the 80s. Doing startups was kind of a French thing. I didn't go to Stanford. I went to Dartmouth which is in New Hampshire. Honestly, it probably didn't even occur to me at the time, the idea that you might start a company. Probably like radical would have been going to work for Microsoft or something. Anyway, I chose the consulting path because it was a combination of being able to write code and do technical things, but more on the business side, which I found compelling.”
