“The early days, it was tough because we were working on getting the banks okay with us. That took a long time. At the same time, we were coding the platform. It just moved really slow. We got to launch Brex June 2018. But for the longest time, we were in Beta, and it took a long time to get it set up. But when we got set up, it just started growing like crazy. It's a kind of product that it's different. It's not that you need to look for product market fit. The risk is different. The risk is you may not ever launch. A lot of credit card companies never launch, but if you do launch, a lot of people want it. That was the challenge that we had.”
