“I’d say it felt like a quite normal upbringing. My father was a bit of an entrepreneur himself. He had his own chemical company, and then he also then ran a comic book business in Manchester, so that made for an interesting childhood. Then, my parents were divorced, and so I spent most of my time with my mom and brought up in a place called Warrington, which is near Manchester, and I’d see my dad on weekends.”
