“That was my first baby, so I loved Stanford for how big it made you think. It was always pushing you to change the world in some way. I really wanted to work on environmental issues. EMOD was a really fun first company, I realized. It totally exploded, and it didn’t even explode. It just never really got off the ground because I was so busy refining and perfecting my business plan. I never got the guts to really make mistakes and try things and grow the company as I should have.”
