“It was always something that I wanted to do. I have two parents that are entrepreneurs. I have three entrepreneurial siblings. For me, it was something that I knew I wanted. I had never had experience with some of the harder skills of how to do a DCF, which I've never had to do. But I learned it, and it gave me confidence, and I felt it was the right thing to do. The idea of going out and raising money seemed really intimidating to me, and not that I learned that in business school, but it did give me confidence to say, "I deserve to be here. I deserve to have a seat at the table because I know everything that you know."”
