“I was part of a business in which I was building out the U.S. group. That took me to New York. I had bosses down in Atlanta, and we were building out some great things with insurance companies in the U.S. around pricing and modeling; that was very interesting. I always wanted to spend time in New York. I got the opportunity to go do an MBA in the city while I was there, which was a good chance to put my head above the clouds and look at what other options there are out there in the world, make an incredible network of people, and have some fun after a long time doing a hard slog.”
