“Since we were profitable out of the gate, we decided to continue to run on profit. I think because we started those companies, Alejandro, on the heels of the recession, we were in a different mindset. We decided to run them more as lifestyle companies distributing the profits we had to the small number of shareholders, and that’s something that worked for us. We only raised about a million dollars into the company, including my own money. But it’s something that now we’ve seen a tremendous return on by just running it in that fashion. And now we have different opportunities to either take on money and grow it larger or sell it at this rate.”
