“Well, I started playing the violin when I was a wee little girl of six years old. And I also thought it would be a hobby, um which it ended up being, but I did take a detour in college to really study it seriously. so i So I left Brown thinking I would just do a year at a conservatory, but it was such a fantastic place. I ended up graduating from there and and did a lot of practice, which which has served me well in my life, I must say. The discipline I learned, becoming a professional violinist, there's really nothing harder.”
