“Interestingly, I was the only one that was one-foot in. I was like probably the least interested of the six. I wanted to continue – we had such an amazing streak with the research. We had so much impact with this research in academia, so I kind of wanted to continue doing that. So I said, "Hey, I don't know if I want to do the startup," but then it turned out that the other co-founders were taking every member in this research lab, and taking it to the startup. I realized that it's going to be completely empty at UC Berkeley, so I might as well just join them. So I joined part-time.”
