“That's a great question. I'm glad that I've had the opportunity to do both, and I wouldn't give either one up. We raised over 50 million. It's a bit like rocket fuel. Things move much, much more quickly. It gave us a lot of things. It gave us more credibility than we had when we were in the bootstrapping phase. But it's also risky because it's rocket fuel and you're going very quickly, but if you don't have product/market fit, you can shoot past your target. That can be really harmful to a company. When you're bootstrapping, you have no choice. If you don't have product/market fit, you're not going to make payroll the next month.”
