“As you know, content owners were very unhappy with the digital arrival. It was a very contentious thing, mp3 in the music companies. When a worldwide group that’s that big and that strong is coming after you, it’s a very, very hard thing to stay the course. We stayed the course. We never lost any people. It was an amazing and difficult ride. We alternately ended up fighting the dragon and selling the company for 370 million dollars. Everybody in the company did a great job, and many of these people went on to be very successful entrepreneurs in their own right. It was one of the most extraordinary experiences I’ve ever had.”
