“Actually, I made that decision pretty much in the night when the Wall came down. I made a split-second decision to jump aboard a train to Berlin when I just watched television and heard that the borders were open. That night, in West Berlin, I decided that I wanted to start a business on the side, initially. Later, obviously, the business boomed, and I didn't have the time to finish my degree, and I was no longer interested in becoming a physics lab rat.”
