Bill Gross is the founder and former CEO of Heliogen, a Pasadena-based clean energy company developing AI-enabled concentrated solar technology to replace fossil fuels. He previously founded Idealab and initially funded Heliogen's predecessor through angel investors and crowdfunding before securing venture capital. Heliogen went public in December 2020.
