“You know. It’s a good question. As I look back on my childhood, if you had talked to me in fifth grade, I probably would have told you I was going to be a stockbroker. I remember the stock crash of 1987. I was 13 years old, and I somehow figured a way with my paper route money to go out and buy shares of GE, IBM, and AT&T. Of course, I didn’t keep them, which would have been a good decision. But I think I was just fascinated with the whole thing – the stock market, publicly-traded, the ups and downs of the companies. It was a passion when I was a kid.”
