I once heard from Condisa Rice that the regulator's job is to regulate, right? So, they're going to do that no matter what. Um, it's our role to partner with the regulator and make sure that we bring the the the the best quality information for the decision making of the regulator. Um and I has I have always as an engineer uh favored the approach of give me the rules and I'll play with the rules right and it never occurred me before swap to influence the rules um and when you play in a regulated um industry you need to be able to influence the rules not because you want to steer just to fail you but uh the regulator not always have the full picture. It's it's the role of the society to instruct the regulator to create the right boundaries and to to build uh a regulation that is at the same time safe for the industry but is is uh is is going to promote competition. It's going to promote a
healthy uh industry. Right? So we have always been very close to the regulator. we wanted to participate in the in the debates um and we even went on and founded u an association for the banking as a service in Brazil uh which influenced the the the regulation that just came out in in December last year. um it's now getting more and more representativeness in in the market and I I always think that mature industries is uh are are the ones that are able to create this uh dialogue between the player among amongst the players and between players and the regulator. later.
