Bahram Akradi is the Founder and CEO of Life Time, a "Healthy Way of Life" brand he started in 1992. Life Time operates 140 locations across 39 major markets in the U.S. and Canada, offering fitness classes, sports competitions, and healthy food. In 2015, Life Time was taken private by Leonard Green and TPG in a transaction valued at over $4.0 billion. Akradi came to the U.S. in 1978 and began his career in the fitness industry in 1984 at Nautilus Fitness Center, while pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering.
