John Poindexter is the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and sole owner of J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc., a diversified manufacturing company headquartered in Houston, Texas. The company, which he transitioned into private equity investment in 1983, has nine subsidiaries and combined revenues of about $3 billion. J.B. Poindexter & Co. is known for being the world's largest producer of commercial truck bodies through its Morgan Corporation subsidiary and is also a leader in pickup truck caps and tonneaus through its Leer, Century, and Pace Edwards brands.
