Ming Wang is the Founder, President, and CEO of Phanes Therapeutics, Inc., a biotech company focused on innovative biologic drug discovery in oncology and eye diseases. Phanes Therapeutics announced a $40 million Series B financing round in May 2021. Previously, Wang held leadership roles at Janssen (Johnson & Johnson), where he was Vice President and Disease Area Leader for Diabetes/Metabolism, and at Amgen, where he was Executive Director and Head of Diabetes Research. He also championed drug discovery programs at Parke-Davis, Pfizer, and Pharmacia.
