About Clare McCarty

Clare McCarty was the Chief Executive of Clanmil Housing, having been appointed in 1984 when it was known as Royal British Legion Housing Association. Under her leadership, the organization grew into a leading housing association in Northern Ireland, providing almost 5,500 homes for over 10,000 people. She was awarded an OBE in 2007 for her services to social housing in Northern Ireland and announced her retirement at the end of 2021.
