Stefan Rose is the Chief Investment Officer at Porterbrook, a company that specializes in the leasing of all types of railway rolling stock and associated equipment. Porterbrook owns almost a third of the national passenger rail fleet in the UK and has invested billions in new passenger and freight vehicles since privatization. Rose previously served as the Head of Structured Finance at the company. Porterbrook was acquired in 2014 by a consortium of investors including Alberta Investment Management Corporation and Allianz Capital Partners.
