So traditionally we'll use molecules when you add in the molecule. This is my uh my tea here. It's my scale down bioreactor. You know if I'm imagining I add the milk to my tea and you watch the milk dissolve. You can't control where the milk goes. And you also can't control when it goes where it goes. It's just going to it's going to do what it does and it'll move stochastically. Um, that's a problem in a bioreactor if you want to, for example, have something switch on and then something switch off and then a different thing switch on and then switch off, which you frequently want to do. You want to be able to toggle multiple things in order to make stuff. Um, that's really hard to do with things that move around randomly. And if you want to create patterns, it's also very hard to do that with molecules that move around randomly. Uh, because your patterns are going to be random. But
frequently we don't want random patterns.
