Amit Jain is an Indian entrepreneur and angel investor, known as the co-founder and CEO of GirnarSoft, the parent company of CarDekho Group. GirnarSoft, an IT outsourcing company founded in 2006, launched CarDekho in 2008 as a platform for vehicle comparison and automotive content. Under his leadership, the CarDekho Group expanded to include several domestic and overseas projects, achieving unicorn status with a valuation over $1 billion in 2021 and raising multiple rounds of funding from investors like Peak XV Partners, Hillhouse Capital, and Ratan Tata Trust.
