In this newly created role, he chairs the Investment Committee and oversees capital allocation decisions for the company, which specializes in gold mining. Hill brought over 25 years of experience in the mining industry to this position. Before rejoining Barrick, he was a partner and Head of Mining at Waterton Global Resource Management, and previously held various senior roles at Barrick, including Vice President of Evaluations and Vice President of Capital Projects.
