UT Health San Antonio is an academic health center with five professional schools, focusing on education, clinical care, research, and community service. During his tenure, Dr. Henrich transformed UT Health San Antonio into a top-ranked academic health center and presided over significant expansion, including $1 billion in ongoing construction projects. Prior to his presidency, he was dean of the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at the same institution and held various academic and leadership roles at other medical schools.
