So here's the hierarchy of launching a startup. First, it's all about the mission. It's all about being able to define your purpose. Like for example, TED spread ideas. Then you got to think about the vision. Like think about what that long-term goal where you're heading. What's that going to look like? Imagine for example Microsoft having a computer in every home. Then the strategy is all about planning. What are going to be the steps that get you there? Imagine for example Uber from private Uber black cars all the way to scooters. Then you need to identify and measure those goals like what is the percentage of stuff that has been accomplished in the case of Microsoft what is the percentage of homes that have a computer that have the Microsoft installed in it then it's all about the road map how you are evaluating the different task and how you're measuring the returns on the investment
