Adam Belsher is the CEO of Magnet Forensics, a Waterloo-based company that develops software used by defense forces and businesses to investigate cybersecurity threats. He co-founded the company in 2010 with Jad Saliba, a former police officer who developed the initial technology. In May 2021, Magnet Forensics went public, raising $115 million. Thoma Bravo agreed to acquire Magnet Forensics for $1.8 billion CAD in January 2023.
