About Mike Blue

Mike Blue is the Chairman and CEO of HistoSonics, a medical robotics company developing ultrasonic technology for destroying cancer tumors, originally spun off from the University of Michigan. He joined HistoSonics as CEO in 2017, leading the company through its Series B and Series C funding rounds, clinical trials for liver tumors, and expansion into a new manufacturing facility in Minneapolis. Under his leadership, HistoSonics completed a $54M Series C round in 2019 and was later acquired for $2.25B in August 2025 by a syndicate including Jeff Bezos and K5 Global.
