Bob Simpson is the founder of Fort Worth-based TXO Partners LP, an energy company focused on the acquisition, development, optimization, and exploitation of conventional oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquid reserves in North America. He founded TXO, initially named MorningStar, after the sale of his previous company, XTO Energy, to ExxonMobil in 2009. TXO Partners went public in January 2023, trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol TXO.
