John Erickson led the Process Intensification (PI) Program at NIIMBL since its establishment in 2020. The program, NIIMBL's first led program, has grown to include most of the organization's large industry member companies and over 400 subject matter experts. During his leadership, two major platforms were completed: a process intensification test bed in Newark, DE, and a design for a next-generation manufacturing facility. Erickson has been gradually reducing his hours with NIIMBL over the past four years.
