Ignacio Moreno serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Grupo Cox, a Spain-based energy company. Grupo Cox announced a US$6.4 billion investment plan, with nearly half allocated to water and renewable energy projects through 2028. The company recently completed a US$4.2 billion acquisition of Iberdrola's assets in Mexico, which positioned Mexico as its most strategic market and consolidated its position as the fourth-largest electricity generator in the country. Moreno projects that Grupo Cox will invest over US$10 billion in Mexico by 2030, including the Iberdrola acquisition and new infrastructure developments.
