Miguel Gularte has been appointed as the global chief executive officer of MBRF, a newly formed food giant resulting from the merger of pork and poultry processor BRF and beef producer Marfrig. The combined entity is one of the world's largest food producers with approximately 160 billion reais ($30 billion) in revenue. Prior to this role, Gularte served as CEO of Marfrig and was instrumental in the turnaround of BRF after Marfrig's founder, Marcos Molina, took majority control.
