About Phil Brown

Philip M. Brown, M.D., J.D., was appointed Chief Medical Officer at Dermavant Sciences, a dermatology-focused subsidiary of Roivant Sciences, in January 2019. In this role, he leads clinical development programs and oversees the advancement of investigational medicines for skin conditions, including the Phase 3 program for tapinarof in psoriasis. Prior to joining Dermavant, Dr. Brown served as head of global pharmaceutical drug development at Galderma and as senior vice president of clinical development at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, bringing over 25 years of experience in clinical development.
