Varun Vummadi is the Co-founder and CEO of Giga, a San Francisco-based voice AI startup. An IIT Kharagpur graduate, he rejected a $525,000 job offer and a Stanford PhD to launch the company in 2023 with co-founder Esha Manideep. Giga raised $3.6 million in seed funding in 2023 and secured $61 million in a Series A round in November 2025.
