Axel Thiemann is the CEO of Sonnedix, a global independent power producer (IPP) focused on solar energy. He was appointed to this role in September 2018, having previously served as Global Head of Commercial since joining the company in 2011. Sonnedix, predominantly owned by institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan, has significantly expanded its solar platform to over 700 MW in operation and an additional 800 MW in pipeline.
