William Huffman is the Chief Executive Officer of Nuveen, an investment manager and the investment manager of TIAA, with $1.2 trillion in assets under management. He chairs the Nuveen Executive Leadership Team and serves on TIAA’s Executive Committee. Prior to this role, Huffman was President of Nuveen Asset Management and Head of Equities and Fixed Income, where he oversaw a global investment business managing over $1 trillion in assets. He has been with Nuveen since 2008 and previously served as CEO of Northern Trust Global Investments Limited.
