About David Thompson

David Thompson is the Chief Executive Officer of CIM Commercial Trust Corporation, a real estate investment trust that acquires, owns, and operates Class A and creative office assets across the United States, including in Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Washington, D.C. He was appointed CEO on March 29, 2019, and previously served as the company's CFO since 2014. CIM Commercial is operated by affiliates of CIM Group, where Thompson also holds the role of Principal and CFO.
