Eric W. Kaler is the 11th president of Case Western Reserve University and the Morton L. Mandel Presidential Chair, a role he assumed on July 1, 2021. Previously, he served as president of the University of Minnesota from 2011-2019. An accomplished chemical engineer with a career in higher education spanning over 40 years, he is also a member of the National Academy of Engineering.
