Kurt Terrani is the CEO and founder of Standard Nuclear, a Tennessee-based company developing advanced nuclear fuel, specifically TRISO fuel using High Assay Low Enriched Uranium (HALEU). He led the company's emergence from stealth in June 2025 with an initial Series A funding of $42 million, which was later expanded to $140 million. Prior to founding Standard Nuclear, Terrani worked in the nuclear fuel space for approximately 14 years.
