LabQ, along with related companies Community Mobile Testing, Inc. and Dart Medical Laboratory, Inc., faced a civil fraud lawsuit from the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York in June 2024. The lawsuit alleges that LabQ and Landau fraudulently billed the federal program for COVID-19 testing provided to uninsured persons, even when patients had health care coverage or when others paid for the tests.
