Steve Cotton is the President and CEO of Aqua Metals, joining the company as President in May 2018 and promoted to CEO in January 2019. He previously served as Chief Commercial Officer from January 2015 to June 2017. Before Aqua Metals, he co-founded Canara, Inc. in December 2001, serving as CEO until its sale in June 2012, and then as Founder and Executive Chairman until April 2014. Canara provided stationary battery systems with integrated monitoring and cloud-based services to data center operators.
