What Series B means

Series B follows a Series A that has clearly worked. The company has a repeatable revenue engine and needs capital to scale go-to-market, expand product, or enter new geographies. Common ARR benchmarks are $5M–$15M with strong growth.

Investors evaluate unit economics — CAC payback, gross retention, net revenue retention — with the seriousness of a public-market analyst. Revenue multiples set the valuation.
