Focus: Mr. Harris Barton is the Founder and serves as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer at H. Barton Asset Management. Previously he was a Managing Director in the Business Development team and is responsible for maintaining and fostering relationships with key clients. He co-founded HRJ Capital in 1999. He became a public equity and private equity investor during his football career, most notably with Sequoia Capital in the venture capital arena, beginning with Sequoia Capital VII in the early 90's. The relationships he developed in that process have been instrumental in building the network of top-tier fund managers throughout the financial services industry available to HRJ Capital. Mr. Barton is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance.
