Alistair Banham is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of pureLiFi, a company that spun out of the University of Edinburgh in January 2012 to develop LiFi technology. He has led the company through multiple funding rounds, including a £10 million investment in July 2022 from the Scottish National Investment Bank. Banham has been featured in interviews discussing pureLiFi's technology, which enables full-duplex communication at speeds up to 43 Mb/s.
