Aziz Aluthman Fakhroo was appointed Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Group in November 2020, having been a Board member since 2011. He has spearheaded major deals, including the merger of Indosat Ooredoo and CK Hutchison, and the creation of a large tower company in the MENA region. Fakhroo brings expertise in finance and governance from his roles at Qatar's Ministry of Finance and Qatar Investment Authority.
