Daniel Wiegand is the co-founder and CEO of Lilium, an eVTOL startup he launched in 2015 shortly after graduating from the Technical University of Munich (TUM). He has raised over $1 billion in funding to develop fully-electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft. Wiegand served as CEO for the first seven years, growing the company to 800 employees and leading its NASDAQ listing via a SPAC merger.
