Wang Jianlin is a Chinese billionaire who founded and built Dalian Wanda Commercial Management Group into China's largest mall developer. As of early 2025, he relinquished majority control of the company after an $8.3 billion restructuring, reducing his stake from 78% to 40% while a PAG-led consortium acquired 60%. He currently serves as Chairman of the restructured commercial arm, retaining a minority stake alongside institutional investors including PAG, Ares Management, and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority.
