Hou Jianbin is the founder of Zuoyebang (also known as Homework Help), a Chinese online education startup that spun out of Baidu in 2015. Previously an executive at Baidu, he worked as an engineer and data scientist. He launched Zuoyebang to use technology to address educational inequality, and the company quickly grew to over 300 million registered users by 2018.
