Helle Østergaard Kristiansen was appointed CEO of Danske Commodities in April 2019, succeeding the company's founder. Under her leadership, Danske Commodities expanded its global activities, incorporating digitalization and focusing on renewables as part of its parent company Equinor's strategy. She transitioned to Senior Vice President of Gas & Power at Equinor in September 2025.
