Belharra Therapeutics emerged from stealth mode with a novel photoaffinity-based chemoproteomics platform, designed to identify non-covalent, small molecule drug candidates for any protein. The company secured $130 million in initial capital, which includes a $50 million Series A financing from Versant Ventures and an $80 million upfront payment from a multi-year collaboration with Genentech.
